Students LOVE to talk about ice cream! Just say the word "Ice Cream", and their eyes light up! During Ii week, we always take a day to include some fun ice cream activities! I give the students the chance to share their favorite ice cream flavor if they could pick any flavor. They come up with some of the craziest flavors! We make a class list of all of their favorites.
Then, I ask them, "If they could only select from chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla, which would they select?" We use this information to create our class ice cream graph.
At the end of the day, we finish with an ice cream craft. I combine Crayola washable paint with a litle bit of shaving cream, and students paint their ice cream cones! A fun fine motor and sensory activity!
